Custom Exhaust Manifolds

Challenged with producing higher horse-power output in a smaller package, major marine engine manufacturers have turned to Hadady for custom water cooled exhaust manifolds. Utilizing unique design and manufacturing techniques, Hadady exhaust manifolds are higher strength and lower weight than traditional cast iron water-cooled manifolds. Adding to the growth of the "Hadady" manifold has been our ability to rapidly design, prototype, and validate the manifold for performance and endurance.

Advantages of "Hadady" manifolds include:

• Higher strength (made of steel, not iron)
• Lighter weight, 20-30% lighter than cast iron (typically resulting in a weight savings of at least 30 pounds per engine!)
• Smaller cross sections allow greater water and exhaust for a smaller part and engine envelope
• Customized exhaust flow passages enhance exhaust flow and turbocharger performance
• Lower tooling cost
• Rapid prototyping, testing, and validating
• Convertible design — able to add brackets and clamps easily by welding onto the manifold
• Can  be "dry wrapped" (insulated)
